Romania, considered a reference country of the Francophone World, is present every year on the stage of the cultural events dedicated to Francophonie in Lebanon.

For the second consecutive year, RLA launched in March a cultural project on “Romania – History and Traditions” at the Grand Lycee Franco-Libanais .

The students went on a fascinating “voyage” discovering the culture, history and traditions of Romania. The audience was delighted with 2 presentations, “Bucharest – Little Paris” and  “The Civilization of the Wood in Maramures” and the exhibition “The Memory of the Walls” – French spirit in the Romanian architecture.

The children did an interview (via SKYPE) with the musician Bogdan Ota and had as guest of honor the head of the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra, Loubnan Baalbaki who talked about Romanian music and introduced the children to two traditional Romanian instruments, the whistle and the pan flute.

These activities ended with a show on March 23, 2017, in the presence of Mr. Victor Mircea, Romania’s Ambassador to Lebanon and his wife, Mrs. Laura Mircea, when the children presented a drama play by playwright Matei Visniec and a moment of slam, having as a musical background the compositions of Bogdan Ota.

România, considerată stat de referința  al lumii francofone, este prezentă în fiecare an pe scena manifestărilor culturale  dedicate Francofoniei în Liban.

Pentru al doilea an consecutiv, RLA a lansat la GLFL (Grand Lycee Franco-Libanais) în luna martie un proiect cultural având ca temă  “România – istorie si tradiții”.

Elevii au efectuat un “voiaj” fascinant  descoperind  cultura, istoria si tradițiile României.  Au avut loc prezentările: “București – Micul Paris”, “Civilizatia lemnului in Maramureș” și expozitia  “Memoria  zidurilor”- spiritual francez în arhitectura românească .

Copiii au făcut un interviu (via SKYPE) cu muzicianul Bogdan Ota si l-au avut ca oaspete de onoare pe șeful orchestrei  simfonice  libaneze, domnul Loubnan Baalbaki care le-a vorbit  despre  muzica romanească  și a prezentat copiilor două instrumente tradiționale românești, fluierul și naiul.

Aceste activități s-au încheiat cu un spectacol organizat la data de 23 martie 2017, in prezența  ES domnul Victor  Mircea, ambasadorul României în Liban și a soției, doamna Laura Mircea.

Copiii au prezentat o piesa de teatru a dramaturgului  Matei Visniec și un moment de slam, având ca  fond muzical compozițiile lui Bogdan Ota.

Compania TAROM, reprezentată de dna. Salwa Flaity, a fost  prezentă la eveniment  și a oferit două bilete  profesorilor liceului.
